What you eat, how you move and how your body is doing is about as personal as data gets. This policy explains what zoeki collects, why, and what you can do with it, in plain words.

Our promises, in short

We never sell your data

Not to advertisers, data brokers, insurers or anyone else. Not now, not later.

No ads, no ad tracking

zoeki has no ads and no advertising trackers, and we never build an advertising profile of you.

Used only to run zoeki

Your logs and readings are used to show you your numbers against your references, and nothing else.

Export or delete, any time

Download everything you have logged, or delete your account and your data, from Settings.

What we collect

We collect what zoeki needs to work, and you choose most of it.

  • Your accountYour email address and the name you give us, so you can sign in and we can reach you about your account.
  • Your profileAge, sex and life stage (such as pregnancy or breastfeeding), plus height and weight if you add them. These choose which references apply to you.
  • What you logFood and drink, and the nutrients we calculate from them. Workouts, activity minutes and heart-rate zones. Weight, blood pressure, heart rate and sleep, if you track them.
  • Connected apps and devicesIf you choose to connect [Apple Health / Health Connect / watch or fitness app], the workouts and readings you allow. You can disconnect at any time.
  • Connected AI assistantsIf you connect an AI assistant or agent to zoeki over MCP, we record which assistant you connected, the permissions you gave it, and what it logged or read, so you can review it in Settings.
  • Technical dataDevice type, operating system, app version and crash reports, so we can keep zoeki working. This is not linked to your health data for any other purpose.

How we use it

  • To show you your numbersComparing what you log with the references for your age and life stage, and drawing your history.
  • To run your accountSigning you in, keeping your data in sync across your devices, and answering you when you contact us.
  • To keep zoeki safe and workingPreventing abuse, fixing bugs and understanding which features are used, from aggregated data that does not identify you.

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade it.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run zoeki, and only what they need to do that job.

  • Service providers[Hosting provider], [email provider] and [crash reporting provider] process data on our behalf, under contracts that forbid them from using it for anything else.
  • AI assistants you connectAn assistant you connect over MCP can read or log only what you allowed it to. What it reads from zoeki goes to that assistant’s provider, and what you say to it is handled under their privacy policy, not ours. Connect only assistants you trust with your health data.
  • When the law requires itIf we receive a valid legal request, we disclose only what is required, and tell you first where the law allows.
  • If zoeki changes handsIf zoeki is merged or acquired, this policy keeps applying to your data, and we will tell you before anything changes.

Nobody else gets your data unless you ask us to share it.

How we protect it

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest [CONFIRM]. Access inside zoeki is limited to the people who need it to support you or run the service, and every access is logged [CONFIRM].

Your choices and rights

  • See and exportDownload everything you have logged from Settings, in a format other apps can read [FORMAT].
  • CorrectEdit your profile and any entry at any time.
  • Turn things offSwitch off any measure in Settings, and zoeki stops asking for it.
  • Control assistantsSee every assistant you have connected, what it can do and what it has logged. Change its permissions or disconnect it at any time.
  • DeleteDelete your account from Settings. Your data is removed within [30] days, and from backups within [90] days.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object or to complain to a data protection authority. Write to us and we will help.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. If you do not sign in for [PERIOD], we will email you before deleting an inactive account.

Children

Accounts are for people aged [MINIMUM AGE] and over. zoeki includes references for children so a parent or guardian can track a child’s intake; that data belongs to the parent’s account and is covered by this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app and by email before the change takes effect. Our promise never to sell your data will not change.
